The 24-year-old Bears quarterback made a bizarre comment on coaching while justifying his “robotic” action on the field this season. And this led to a much bigger issue where there had been a potential FBI investigation.

In a talk show on Get Up ESPN, Mike Greenberg has his say about Justin Fields and the Chicago Bears. The ESPN Radio host fully backs Justin Fields in his inability to rise as a great quarterback by blaming the “organizational incompetence.

He said, “Justin Fields may or not have been destined to be a great NFL quarterback, but he’s been given absolutely no chance and he can’t say it… Someone needs to say it. They are ruining that kid because of complete organizational incompetence. That place is a dumpster fire.

In addition, Justin Fields’ explanation of his odd performance after two losses this season triggered more attention. He answers the question about his overthinking on the field, stating, “Could be coaching, I think.

Fields later clarified his statement, saying, “I’m not blaming anything on the coaches. I’m never going to blame anything on the coaches, never gonna blame anything on my teammates. I will take every, whatever happens in the game, I will take all the blame.

Mike Greenberg goes on to say, “I get that Justin Fields shouldn’t say it, but to be completely honest with you I don’t blame him. Everything they’re doing is wrong and only a tiny little bit of it is his fault.

Fields struggles with a bad start to a new season

The Chicago Bears are in the thick of the action. With the sudden resignation of Alan Williams, Bears defensive coordinator, amid training camp, it was apparent something was up with the team. The undisclosed Bears’ Halas Hall headquarters raid attracted the FBI to the franchise’s facility.

Following their Week 3 game against the Kansas City Chiefs, the Chicago Bears are left with a dismal 0-3 win-loss record. They lost to the Green Bay Packers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bears suffered an overall of 65-37 in the three games played this season.

It is no wonder why Justin Fields is feeling the edge this season. His quarterback rating is among one of the worst in the NFL at 70.7. He secured only two touchdowns and three picks and was sacked ten times.
