New England Patriots drafted Tom Brady in 2000, and in 2002 Brady led the team to their first Super Bowl win. Brady was 24 years and 184 days old when he won his first Super Bowl ring. He became the youngest quarterback to achieve this feat, leaving behind the NFL legends Joe Namath and Joe Montana.

In 2002, the Patriots played against the Los Angeles Rams in the Super Bowl game and defeated them by 20-17. Brady, in that season, threw for 2,843 yards with 18 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. In 2001, he played his first season as a starting quarterback and started 14 out of 15 games.

In the first season playing as a starting quarterback, Brady could lift the Lombardi Trophy and be the youngest player to do so. Before Brady, Joe Namath and Joe Montana were the youngest QB, 25 years old when they won their first Super Bowl title.

The legendary New York Jet’s QB, Joe Namath, played against Baltimore Colts in Super III and led the team to their first and only franchise victory until now. Similarly, Joe Montana played for the San Francisco 49ers and defeated the Bengals in Super Bowl XVI. Almost after 20-years-ago, Brady broke the record in 2002.

As of the current standings, Brady ranks as the third quarterback on the list. Former Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger is in the No. 1 position as he won his first Super Bowl at 23 years and 340 days. In the second position, we have Patrick Mahomes, who recently, in 2020, won his first Super Bowl at 24 years and 138 days.
