The Kansas City Chiefs got the scare of their lives when their Star QB Patrick Mahomes suffered an ankle injury against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Brittany Mahomes shows support for Chad Henne
After her husband Patrick Mahomes went into the locker room, Brittany Mahomes fixed her eyes on the backup Chiefs QB Chad Henne. And she apparently liked what was on display. Brittany showed her support for Henne through a short and sweet tweet.
“HENNE THING IS POSSIBLE,” she tweeted, playing with the phrase ‘anything is possible’ and Henne’s name.
The NFL veteran showed that anything is possible, playing his first game of this season. The 37-year-old led his team on a 98-yard touchdown drive in the first half to ably fill the void left by Mahomes’ injury. That enabled the Chiefs QB1 to wait till halftime and come back to pick up from where Henne left.
The University of Michigan alumnus threw five completions in seven pass attempts. He threw 23 passing yards and scored an all-important touchdown. And all this was without turning the ball over in his first game of the season. Brittany is right, ‘Hennething’ is possible.
Fans agreed with Brittany and applauded Henne for his cameo.

It's what henne is there for… Get to half time so a better evaluation can be done. A win is important but Patrick's health is too. Henne can do this.
