Lamar Jackson was the star of the 2018 NFL draft, and he knows a thing or two about the prospects. The Baltimore Ravens have ten picks in the 2022 draft, including nine first-round picks. They can get some pretty sweet players this year. It seems like the quarterback is trying to recruit a star rookie to Baltimore.

Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner is one of the top players available in the 2022 draft. The self-proclaimed “Best player in the draft” is on the list of many teams this year. But Jackson took to Twitter to lure the young cornerback to the Ravens.

Baltimore could use a good cornerback
The quarterbacks dominate the AFC division. A lot of big names have been trading to teams in this conference. To tackle them, the Ravens need a strong defense. They need a reliable cornerback at the heart of the backfield.

Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner can be the perfect fit. The 6-foot-3, 200 pounds CB played over 13 games last year. He made 40 tackles, five tackles for loss, three interceptions, and three sacks. Gardner did not allow a single touchdown during his collegiate career. There is a reason why they call him the Sause. “When I’m on and off the field, I make sure I got the sauce, you know, and I just keep going.” He said.

Lamar Jackson knows what his team needs. So with their nine first-round draft picks, Gardner is a potential addition to the squad. The young Cincinnati cornerback made a tweet saying, “I’m the best player in the draft.” The official B/R Gridiron reposted the tweet, and Jackson replied, “Come to the ravenz.” Gardner will be a great addition to the Ravens’ defense.

The current Ravens quarterback was a star in the draft as well. Baltimore selected Lamar Jackson in the first round of the 2018 NFL draft. Jackson was a well-established college star. He was the perfect addition to the Ravens. In the following season, the quarterback was named MVP, and Tom Brady has praised him too.
