It’s that time of the year. With the cold winds of Winter, comes one of the biggest family holidays in the United States. While most people plan their travels to see family and relive their yearly family traditions, Tom Brady will look to create new ones as he will celebrate the holiday for the first time as a single parent.

Tom Brady has three kids. Vivian, 9, and Benjamin, 12 are his two kids with ex-wife Gisele Bundchen. Jack,15 is his son with his ex-girlfriend, Bridget Moynahan.

Tom Brady goes down the memory lane

As Tom Brady enjoyed his week off from the Bucs camp after their stupendous overseas win in Germany, he took some time to discuss all things family on his weekly Sirius XM podcast. The holiday will be quite a strange one for the family. Having spent the day as a whole unit for thirteen years, this year will be a lot different.

However, the legendary quarterback made his priorities very clear for the festive season. In a heartfelt conversation, he said, “I think of myself as a parent and being grateful during Thanksgiving, it’s always time for family.”

He claims they played a huge role in the making of a seven-time Super Bowl champion. “When you think about this holiday and the commitment that parents make and that my parents made to me and my career is unbelievable,” said Brady.

A different thanksgiving?

In talking about his plans for the holiday season, Tom Brady said he looked for inspiration in his parents. “I just want to be that for my kids. You know, I just wanna be the best dad I could be,” said the Buccaneers quarterback as he credited his parents for his success. Even if he’s able to be a significant percentage of what his parents were to him, Brady will have raised a terrific trio.

Though the festivities will be a lot different for him, Brady didn’t drop his humor as he discussed his plans. He said he had had his share of humble pie for the year and will continue to look forward to his pumpkin pie. He even showed no remorse as he looks forward to a good thanksgiving despite the changes in his family setting.
