Mahomes took to Instagram to announce the release of the new colorway and shared his excitement, writing, “For Sterling Skye 💙🌤️ My latest colorway ‘Family Time’ drops today for Sterling’s birthday 🎉.” Adidas also celebrated Sterling’s birthday by posting on Instagram, “Nothing’s more important than family. To help celebrate his daughter Sterling’s birthday, we’ve dropped an all-new Mahomes 1 colorway. The sky-blue color is in honor of Sterling.”
