“All of This Nonsense Is Not What I’m About”: Kyler Murray Dispels All Speculation Regarding His Relationship With the Arizona Cardinals in Statement
Kyler Murray has finally broken his silence about the online drama that has been going on for the past week. An ESPN Insider reported that there have been speculations about his relations with the Cardinals. Therefore, Murray took to social media and issued a statement refuting all the speculations aimed at him.
The Arizona Cardinals quarterback posted a statement to both his Instagram and Twitter accounts. Murray wrote he plays football for the love of the game and his teammates believe in him because they know he is capable of winning a championship. He added, “All of this nonsense is not what I’m about, never has been, never will be. Anyone who has ever stepped between those lines with me knows how hard I go.” Lastly, he mentioned he doesn’t care if people love him or hate him. He will keep striving to grow and be better.

Chris Mortensen tweets that there is an “odd vibe” between the Cardinals and Kyler Murray. According to Mortensen, an unnamed source described Murray as self-centered, immature, and a finger pointer. However, in another tweet, he reported the situation is calm now, and the Cardinals want Kyler Murray to be their quarterback. He added, “Select veterans hope to reach Murray on how he handle adversity better. Coach Kliff Kingsbury also is self-scouting where he can provide better alternatives for QB.”

Perhaps Murray’s statement may have come after talking with the veteran player or Kingsbury. Additionally, this offseason, Murray and the Cardinals will be in the spotlight.
