Dak Prescott bagged himself a new contract. Only this time, it’s an endorsement deal with the Jordan brand. The Dallas Cowboys quarterback only recently landed a bumper 4-year, $160-million contract with the NFL franchise in March 2021.

The quarterback who has several other endorsements with the likes of AT&T, Beats by Dre, Direct TV, 7-Eleven, Pepsi, and Citibank to name a few, has added basketball legend Michael Jordan’s brand to the growing list.

Previously associated with Adidas, the quarterback will be rocking Jordan’s signature cleats from here on out.

Dak Prescott, highest-paid NFL athlete on Jordan roster

Signing a 5-year deal with Jordan, Prescott is now the highest-paid NFL player to be associated with the company. As per reports, the multi-million dollar deal was negotiated by the Jordan Brand team and the quarterback’s marketing agent Peter Miller of JABEZ Marketing Group.

The exact monetary details of the deal haven’t been disclosed to the public just yet. But one can expect the Cowboys quarterback’s bank account to get a major boost.

Prescott was earlier associated with Adidas. The quarterback had signed a deal with the multinational sports equipment manufacturer during his rookie year in 2016.

Since then the quarterback has gone from strength to strength to become of the league’s most recognizable stars. Prescott is not the only major athlete who plays for a Dallas-based sporting outfit to be associated with Jordan.

Dallas Mavericks point guard Luka Doncic also signed a deal with the brand in 2020. The NBA superstar wears the Air Jordan 35. His first player exclusive with Jordan debuted earlier last year with the ‘Mindfulness’ version of the Air Jordan 1.

Prescott joined an exclusive club. He now joins the likes of fellow NFL superstars Stefon Diggs, Davante Adams, Michael Thomas, Devin White, and Jamal Adams to be associated with the Jordan Brand.

But what sets Dak Prescott apart is that he is the only NFL quarterback to be on the Jordan line.
