“Man, you know, I think I have a certain role on the team and I’m obviously a leader in that locker room, I mean. I’ve kinda submitted myself in there. When I look at a role like Drew’s, Demario Davis, I mean he’s been that other player behind Drew.

“When Drew was too tired to break it down, Demario would step in and do that. Another outstanding dude man, I mean, Demario he exemplifies what it means to be a role model teammate, a leader in the community, everything. So I think Demario could kind of step in and fill that void, you know,” Kamara said on the show.

32-year-old inside linebacker Demario Davis has been with the Saints for 3 years. But as Kamara said, he is already a role model to youngsters within the organization.

Davis signed a 3-year, $27 million contract extension with the Saints in 2020. He is definitely someone coach Sean Payton trusts and believes in. After what Alvin said in the above interview, we figure he has the support of his teammates too!
