According to NFL insider Adam Schefter, clearance of cap space prompted this decision from the franchise’s perspective.

According to ‘The Athletic’s’ Jourdan Rodrigue, Wagner donated $5000 to a deceased part-time employee’s family. The Rams employee passed away earlier this month. Considering this gesture, the LB’s move from the franchise is bittersweet.
