Tom Brady and his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen were undoubtedly FTX’s biggest celebrity endorsers. The NFL star and the model owned a substantial number of shares as well. According to reports TB12 had 1,144,861 in common stock while Bündchen had 686,761. The former couple were practically the faces of the company and heavily involved in advertising campaigns.

Tom Brady was one among the many names that were listed in the documents filed at the Delaware bankruptcy court. Brady and Bündchen were not the only ones to lose out on FTX’s collapse. The former crypto giant also enlisted other celebrities and athletes including Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry.

This comes as yet another blow in the seven-time Super Bowl champion’s life. After his brief retirement from the sport in early 2022, things have seemingly gone downhill for the quarterback. His return to the game after the retirement stint that lasted a grand total of 40 days is the reported cause for the downward spiral of his marriage. Brady and Bündchen announced the finalization of their divorce in October after 13 years of marriage.

The former couple has embarked on a co-parenting journey at present. Apart from this, the QB has seen a debilitating slump in his performance all season. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers barely managed to make it to the playoffs. Brady caught the ire of fans after multiple close games and sideline outbursts. But, the new year will hopefully bring in renewed purpose for the QB to take an upward trajectory both on and off the field.
