Reports flooded the internet that the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback may not join Fox Sports for his commentating commitments. However, post-retirement Brady has been fiery in squashing rumors. And he took to social media recently to do just that.

In the last week, news came out of various outlets that 7x Super Bowl champion Tom Brady may be reneging on his $375 million 10-year contract with Fox Sports. Brady had previously delayed the joining date to the fall of 2024. The latest rumors surfaced after NY Post sports insider Andrew Marchand predicted a 51% chance of TB12 ditching Fox after speaking to sources close to the NFL icon. However, although it was just a hypothesis, Marchand blamed Israel-based news aggregator Dov Kleiman for falsely blowing his conjecture into actual reporting news.

“Tom Brady might quit his new 10-year, $375 million deal with Fox Sports,” Kleiman tweeted, citing Marchand’s quotes from his podcast.

Brady didn’t sit back and let the rumors gather momentum. In a social media post by Sports Illustrated, the former New England Patriots legend commented, “Fake News.”

Tom had previously stated during an appearance on The Colin Cowherd Podcast that he intended to push back his Fox Sports commitment for an entirely separate reason. “I want to be great at what I do,” the 15x Pro Bowler had said.

The only information that the fan page claimed was that the collaboration could be with a famous hair stylist for a possible cover story.
