Tampa has been inconsistent, as they haven’t managed to put up more than two wins on a trot. They are recently coming off a loss at the hands of a very rusty Browns team. The Saints, on the other hand, are at the bottom of the NFC South. They are coming off a loss against the 49ers. The Niners’ defense completely shut them out, not allowing them to get even one point on the board.

Redemption time for Tom Brady

In their last outing, Tom Brady was average at best, as he recorded very mediocre numbers for his standards. Covering for less than 200 yards and throwing at a mere 53% accuracy, Brady looked like quite the rookie in the game. In his defense, the QB took the field without key offensive linemen. His wide receivers, Julio Jones and Chris Godwin, were missing. However, this time around, Brady wouldn’t be without his key linemen.

Leonard Fournette, who had been nursing a hip injury, was back to full participation in practice. Russell Gage Jr. and Mike Evans both were in training and should be available for their upcoming game. Tom Brady will look to capitalize on the availability of his key players as the Bucs look to make some noise in the postseason.

New Orleans, who failed to score in their last game, has a few casualties as they prepare for their trip to Tampa Bay. Tight end Juwan Jones has been ruled out. Along with him, 3 other defensemen for the Saints are ruled out for their game. With a punctured defense and an offense that looked miserable lately, Tom Brady has the best ingredients to cook the Saints.
