According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, a selection of top league executives believe Andy Reid could step down after clinching the second Super Bowl with the Chiefs. An AFC scout mentioned, “I just think at some point he could make the life decision to walk away from the grind. I could at least see it.”

Reid has never explicitly indicated that he intends to retire as a head coach in the coming years. With Patrick Mahomes as his franchise quarterback, the HC captures more Super Bowls. Moreover, the Big Red did not have an unsuccessful season since taking over as the Chiefs’ head coach.
