However, no one could have predicted the fairytale run that Brady and his band of speedsters embarked upon when the season began in September 2020.

The 43-year-old veteran along with former Patriots teammates Rob Gronkowski and Antonio Brown starred as the Bucs defeated Kansas City Chiefs by a 9-31 scoreline on February 7th, 2020.

In doing so, the Buccaneers won their second-ever Lombardi. But can they successfully defend their title in 2021?

“Obviously, the players will be more comfortable with him. And I get that there’s typically a Super Bowl hangover for some of these teams…

“If I have seven rings, and I’m still going hard after another championship, the rest of you should be as hungry as ever. So I think that was a message, and that’s one of the strengths of Brady, his leadership, his intangibles, and this was an example of that,” Broussard said on the show.

The Buccaneers have a lot of players who will be free agents in the summer. The likes of Shaquil Barrett, Antonio Brown, Leonard Fournette, LeSean McCoy, and others all signed short-term deals.

In addition to that, Chris Godwin is also due for a new contract which won’t come cheap. It will be interesting to see how coach Arians and GM Jason Licht hold on to some of the core members from their Super Bowl-winning roster.
