The NFL quarterback carousel is spinning in circles at the moment. Matthew Stafford, Carson Wentz, and Jared Goff are some of the big-name shot-callers to switch teams in the offseason. But they could be joined by the likes of Russell Wilson, Deshaun Watson, Sam Darnold, Dak Prescott, and even Tua Tagovailoa, later this summer.

Seattle Seahawks veteran Russell Wilson enjoyed a strong run in 2020. The Ohio-born quarterback threw for 4,200+ passing yards and 40 passing touchdowns last season.

But as per latest reports, Wilson could be on the move in the coming weeks. His next rumored destination? NFC East franchise Dallas Cowboys.

Russell Wilson to Dallas Cowboys will work out for all parties involved

On the latest segment of FOX Sports’ Undisputed, former NFL player LaVar Arrington offered his two cents on the rumors linking Wilson with a potential trade deal to the Cowboys.

He said, Russell Wilson with who you guys just said, CeeDee lamb, Amari Cooper, (Michael) Gallup, nobody throws a better deep ball…so when you look at what they bring to the table, and you have someone like Russell Wilson who brings that accountability and raises that standard, like you saw Tom Brady do and Tampa Bay.

“I think that that would be just as big if not bigger. It’s probably a bigger coup than what you saw take place with Tom Brady going to Tampa Bay last offseason,” Arrington said on the show.

What next for Dallas Cowboys stars Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott?

The former Washington player-turned-analyst further suggested that the likes of Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott will also benefit from any potential Russell Wilson trade deals.

“I don’t know that Ezekiel Elliott will ever be the guy he once was when he was getting that large contract in Dallas, he might go somewhere else….so you go somewhere like like Seattle because that is the type of team that will be an amazing landing place for Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott.”

After suffering a double compound fracture, Dak is expected to make a return in time for the 2021 NFL season. It remains unclear if Mike McCarthy and Jerry Jones will offer Prescott a big-money deal in the months. Watch this space for more.
