Analyst dissects Aaron Rodgers comments on the Jordan Love draft

On ESPN’s Get Up, the former quarterback said, “Well, he handled it like a pro. But this is been a couple kind of public comments that he’s made that I think are very telling. You know when he uses the phrase ‘my sincerest desire to play for one organization.'”

Rodgers will control the narrative at Green Bay Packers

Orlovsky says, “I think the reality comes down to this. If The Packers are playing well and Aaron Rodgers is playing well this will not be a massive talking conversation over the next year or two. But I want to bring everyone back to a year and a half ago when The Packers were in between their coaching staff. Aaron Rodgers was outward in saying that they played in San Francisco 2 years ago.”

“He remembered standing on the sidelines and saying I want to play for an offense like that. One that is fun for a quarterback to look at. Balls going down the field all over the place. So they bring in Matt LeFleur somebody who runs a very similar scheme to Kyle Shanahan.”

With Aaron Rodgers having all he wants the numbers have to be near the top.

Orlovsky continued, “Now the offense for Green Bay last year was ok. It was the middle of the pack in a whole lot of things. And so if that offense stays middle of the pack and is just kind of ok the whispers are gonna start. And the conversation are gonna start that maybe Aaron isn’t good enough anymore. Or did they not surround him with good enough people?”

“Jordan Love is ripping it up in practice. So that’s when the real story will come into play here. But if the Packers are winning games and he’s playing great it won’t. But let this turn into a struggle for him and the offense over the next season, and this will get ugly.”

Fans who see Rodgers as a diva may relish the upcoming seasons. However, ‘Green and Gold’ fans may have a soft spot for the veteran and wish to see him end his time at Wisconsin on his terms.

Do you think Aaron Rodgers will realize that his future is in his own hands and rise to the occasion? Or will Jordan Love’s arrival see him fade into oblivion at Lambeau Field?
