Jaelon Darden could emerge as the surprise package at the 2021 NFL Draft

On the latest segment of the Good Morning Football Show, co-host Peter Schrager offered his 2 cents on North Texas prospect Jaelon Darden ahead of the 2021 NFL Draft.

He said, “I’m gonna give you a wild card entry. Someone that I’m gonna present to you that you haven’t heard of before that is going to be drafted and we’ll make a play at some point next season.

“We’re gonna start off on Monday with North Texas wide receiver, Jaelon Darden… Let me tell you something about Jaelon Darden, 5’8” 174 pounds and he is as shifty as they come.

“The numbers are insane from what Jalen Darden did. North Texas’ all-time leader in receptions, receiving yards receiving touchdowns in all four seasons.

“Last year for North Texas, the guy had 19 touchdowns in one season… The stuff that you see on film from him, he is so shifty. He is so fast, he is so quick with his feet.

“There are highlight tapes online where players are literally falling down on skates because Darden is so quick in the slot… Not a huge body, but he is as shifty as they come and I could see him making a huge difference at the NFL next season,” Schrager said on the show.

After 4 years in Texas, Darden finished with 2,782 receiving yards and 38 receiving touchdowns. He is reportedly on the list of the New England Patriots, Houston Texans, and even the Cleveland Browns.

Darden definitely has what it takes to make it big in the NFL. Keep a close eye on this one!
