NFL franchise Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams is going through a special 2021 NFL season, with this being one of the best of his career. The Packers wideout was one of the most commented athletes in the NFL this season. While his standout performances weren’t at all expected, he did garner praise from Packers QB Aaron Rodgers who sees Adams as one of their stars.

Being one of the most accomplished players in his position, his address on Wednesday was as good advice as young players could ever receive. He recently took to Twitter to provide further clarifications on his comments during the press conference on Wednesday.
Adams felt that some young players might take his advice to be discouraging them from not doing drills. But what he meant was totally opposite with a slight change. He states in his tweet, “For clarity, I absolutely do drills! However, all the drills I do are 100% transferable to what I do and how I play on Sunday.”

Davante Adams Clarifies For More Clarity
Following this tweet, he once again tweeted to provide clarifications for his clarification tweet. He states in his tweet, “And for further clarity, everybody responded great to what I said about drills so that wasn’t an issue…Goofy drills don’t work.” The Packers star goes on to state that he tries to be as clear as he can for all his young followers. He adds he doesn’t want them thinking that he means drills don’t help.

The care that Adams puts into each of his words lets everyone know that he realizes his status. He recognizes that he is a role model. He takes extra care so as to not lead them on the wrong path. Adams shows maturity beyond his years in almost action he takes both on and off the field.
