As the drama soars, some NFL executives lay claim to how the quarterback used the Green Bay Packers to pique his interest.

The Packers QB1 is often an off-season commodity. But he rocketed before the Super Bowl LVII this year. Mike Sando of The Athletic spoke with several NFL executives about the Aaron Rodgers-Packers situation. One of them slammed the QB and explained why Green Bay was ready to trade off A-Rod. “I think he showed his true colors last offseason when he held them hostage and took $50 million a year. He knew he could get his best deal from the Packers, and now that he has it; Now that he has secured the bag, he is open to leaving,” the executive illustrated.

Several teams could jump on the bandwagon if the Green Bay Packers are ready to trade Aaron Rodgers. Since the franchise is considering an AFC move, the 49ers could be out of the equation. But the chances for the Las Vegas Raiders and the Tennessee Titans are improving. The Jets are also among them, but they might seem like an unlikely alliance.
