It is the offseason. Many players, coaches, and officials are enjoying some downtime after another hard-hitting year of the NFL. While everything was taking a back seat, rumors stayed floating about the Kansas City Chiefs. There were reports about the offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy having beef with the HC Andy Reid and the star quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

The ‘Chiefs Kingdom Editorial Board’ released a statement back in February. They were the ones who reported some animosity between Bieniemy and Mahomes. The page has been taken down. The Chiefs HC Andy Reid reveals that things have just been fabricated. Everything is fine on the Chiefs’ sidelines.
Eric Bieniemy didn’t like Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid?
Fans began to believe there was a problem within the Chiefs after the ‘Chiefs Kingdom Editorial Board’ published the allegedly fake news in February. People started to believe the offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy had some issues with Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid. But the Chiefs’ HC has said that is not the case at all.
“This whole thing with Eric Bieniemy that’s been written has gotten kind of fabricated,” the Chiefs’ HC told the reporters. “We were on vacation, and over the two weeks, I came back, and all of a sudden, it was that I didn’t like Eric and Eric didn’t like me and [Patrick Mahomes] and everybody else. That’s not the case. We all get along good, and I’m glad he’s back with us and rolling.”
According to Reid, everyone gets along well and there are no issues within the team. The coach was completely unaware of the situation. He was enjoying a vacation. All the reports were just fake rumors.
Reid said that Bieniemy’s return was uncertain
Andy Reid believed that Eric Bieniemy would not be returning as the OC for the Chiefs next season. Not because of a purported spat with Patrick Mahomes and himself, though. Bieniemy, according to Ried, is a possible HC candidate.

“I thought he’d potentially get a head coaching job.” Reid adds, “I would have been happy with, too, but that’s not how it worked out.”
