Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown is prone to making controversial comments but appears to have found some backing. Recently, AB called out former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick for not using his monetary gains to uplift the community. It seems those claims resonate with some former NFL players, including former Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Pacman Jones.

During his recent appearance on ‘Cigar Talk’, while talking to host Naji, Brown states, “He don’t wanna play, man. He was trash, everything… Kaepernick did all that and took the money and then got the commercial. We don’t see Kaepernick outside. Where he at? I ain’t never seem him outside… All that is cap. We ain’t respecting that, bro. You took the money, the commercials. We don’t see you outside. We don’t see him in the hood. He don’t do nothing.

Brown refers to Kaepernick and his face-offs against the league and how he has not used the outcome to help his community.

The comments seem to be resonating with Jones, who also felt that Kaepernick hasn’t been using the money he received for charity work. However, Jones admits that he is not sold on Brown‘s theory of Kaepernick not deserving another chance at the NFL stage.

Does Antonio Brown believe all the things he said about Colin Kaepernick?

One of the statements by AB describing Kaepernick’s game to be ‘trash’ might be a little premature. It appears so because Kaepernick was a stand-out player on the Niners roster after getting drafted. He led them close to winning the Super Bowl in 2012 and put in an impressive performance in their narrow defeat against the Baltimore Ravens.

Even Jones agrees that Kaepernick is driven to play again in the NFL in the upcoming season. However, the former Bengals CB doesn’t seem to comment on whether he deserves a comeback in 2022.
