With time there are a few former teammates that have grown apart from Tom Brady. Even Brady is dealing with some setbacks in his personal life. However, one of Brady’s former teammates recently shared an uncomfortable anecdote, and many are stuck with a what-if for the ages.

An uncomfortable massage

The QB position demands respect and for the rest of the team to follow the lead, but it is also the QB’s job to keep the team prepared. And TB12 has always gone above and beyond in putting his team in a position to win. “What’s the most uncomfortable thing that Tom Brady has done in front of you?” was the question presented to Marpet to which he responded, “Neck massage,  “He was trying to help. To be fair he was trying to help, my neck was messed up, but (pause).”

While Brady’s awkward neck massage left Ali Marpet a tad uncomfortable, the reveal made many wonders if Brady took the same approach with Antonio Brown. With Brown’s infamous exit from the NFL, the two have developed an animosity of sorts. But it is safe to assume that the former running mates must have had their moments.

A broken brotherhood

Tom Brady and Antonio Brown used to be two peas in a pod. In fact, it was Tb12 who helped resurrect Antonio Brown’s career, recruiting him to play with him. However, the relationship soon took an unexpected turn. Brown took to clowning Brady on social media and the reason was incomprehensible to most.

Turns out Brown’s contract year presented its own challenges to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. AB continued holding out in hopes of securing himself a larger contract, but Tb12 wasn’t as thrilled about the idea. Brown further claimed that his agent received a call from Tom Brady who resorted to calling him names and asking, “Why is he pushing back for the contract for scraps?”

With Brown and Brady both having hung up their cleats, the two have since continued maintaining a safe distance from each other. But the Tampa Bay fanbase is still hopeful for further insight.
