The former Steelers safety Ryan Clark sat with his long-time buddy & former Steelers WR Antonio Brown on ‘The Pivot’ for a highly anticipated interview. Mostly everyone who follows the NFL closely is well aware of their long-time beef, stemming back to 2012. Brown was still just maturing, playing his third season in the league, while Clark was a veteran leading the Steelers’ defense from the front. Meanwhile, Brown improved as a player and made phenomenal contributions to the team.

Brown was about to receive a contract extension over other experienced players on the team, which created differences between them. Soon, the Safety and wide receiver indulged in numerous fights during the practice sessions. Their conflicts of interest grew over the years, and even after Clark retired from the game, the duo often criticized each other through verbal fights. It was not a good look on the former teammates of a franchise that prided itself on creating brotherhood.

However, everything came to an end after Clark shared his affection for his buddy and clarified all the misconceptions brewing in the digital world. “People need to know this isn’t about publicity,” Clark said. “I should’ve reached out to you. … I should’ve been better as an OG. I’m formally apologizing.” Clark added in the interview.
