Antonio Brown Once Opened Up About His Extremely Tough Beginnings & Living On His Own At 16

Antonio Brown has arguably become one of the most prominent personalities in the NFL, if not among sporting activities. The prolific wideout served nine years with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also made brief trips to the Oakland Raiders, New England Patriots, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers throughout his decade-plus tenure. One needs to have a fair share of struggles in their past, and Brown is no stranger to that. He once opens up about his hardships at the young age of 16.

Antonio Brown has turned into a social networking juggernaut since his unexpected exodus from the NFL. He creates waves both on and off the turf. His profile has recently been in the press for all different purposes; Resulting in him becoming probably most famous for losing his job.

Antonio Brown’s boyhood is far from idyllic

Brown once revealed in an interview his troubled history as a 16-year-old teen. When he became 12 years old, his mother remarried, and his father stays away. They, therefore, forced him out of his residence when he was 16 since he didn’t get on well with his stepfather. He would have to stay his nights at a mate’s place, inside of the car, or even in a cheap motel.

He mentions, 16-year-old don’t understand that uh you couldn’t understand how you’re born into the world with your parents, you know, the people who brought you into the world that abandon you. You know, as a kid, you would never understand that being that you’re in your mind, you’re just the perfect kid.”

According to ESPN, There’s a little neighborhood called Gwen Cherry Park In Northwest Miami. Interestingly, the area fostered some incredible athletes, namely NFL stars Amari Cooper, Santana Moss, Chad Johnson, and Antonio Brown. The suburb seems to grow NFL legends from the ground. Those that grew up here faced many challenges.

Antonio Brown has maintained that he’ll never “quit on the job.” According to TMZ Sports, the player sincerely wants to come back to the NFL. However, he claims he will only have surgery to repair his busted ankle if an NFL team commits to acquiring him. Brown is a capable player, yet his background having issues on the field could make it tough for someone like him to bargain with some other franchise.

Moreover, Skip Bayless from the Undisputed: Skip & Shannon recently reveals that Brown may pursue his hip-hop music career. The former NFL WR is also the President of Donda Sports, and he continues to make the news wave.

Brown’s athletic ability is apparent on the pitch. His on-field productivity and attributes put him among the elite wide receivers. Brown’s career story started in 2010, and he has had a prolonged and distinguished career. While an NFL return looks inevitable, Brown may face some challenges on his road to redemption in the league.
