

One of the best WRs of the 2010s, Antonio Brown, has a unique take on many questions. The WR is a record holder in every season he played with the Pittsburgh Steelers until he left the franchise. He also built a successful career in music and released multiple tracks, with the latest coming out in 2022.

In 2020, reporters caught up with the WR on his way out of a Kansas City chiefs match and asked him about Patrick Mahomes’ performance. While the young Chiefs QB had performed exceptionally well, Brown had quite a unique take on the matter.
Is Patrick Mahomes the best QB in the NFL for Brown?
Brown was asked if Mahomes’ dominant performance in that match made him not just the contender but the best QB playing in the NFL. The Bucs WR was quick to say, “Behind Tom Brady… Brady up there.”
It showed the level of respect Brown had for the NFL GOAT, despite not having played with him. However, later in 2020, the maverick WR signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers led by Tom Brady.

Brown, however, had something else to say when asked if he would like to play with Mahomes. He said, “I’d love to play with him.” Mahomes has widely been considered one of the best young QBs in the league at present. Many tout him as Tom Brady’s successor in the NFL.

TMZ Sports interviewed Brown when he was leaving the stadium after a Chiefs game, which Mahomes had utterly dominated.

Antonio Brown- His career and his future
Currently a free agent, Brown last played for the Buccaneers in the 2021 season. He won 7 Pro Bowls over his career and 4 All Pros (1st). He has also been the AP OPOY three times in his career.

Brown has stated that he may not play in the 2022 season. He said that he was one of the best players in his position of all time. He continued, “Obviously, we live the game, but you can’t play forever. I think I’m a great player that’s done everything in the game.” He has also expressed his wish to retire as part of the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he began his career.

Whatever his future holds, it seems that if the Chiefs come calling for him, Brown may just go there and fulfill his wish of playing with Patrick Mahomes.
