The controversial stories in the life of ex-NFL star Antonio Brown never seem to reach an end. After being recently involved in an issue over unpaid child support, AB found himself in the midst of another accusation involving his ownership of the National Arena League team – the Albany Empire. It is also the same franchise that his father Eddie played for back in his days. But AB has been reportedly not doing a good job as the new owner of the team. He has been accused of bringing the team to the ground rather than taking up his role to help improve the franchise in the league. 

It is almost as if his controversial history in the NFL is catching up with his new career role as well. But after the recent accusations, Antonio Brown has come up with a response to everything happening in his life at the moment.

Brown’s tenure as the new owner of the Albany Empire has not had the start he was hoping for. Both the HC and the players of the franchise have voiced their discontent over the way how AB has been handling the reins of the franchise after acquiring 95% of the ownership stake. In the midst of the accusations made against the ex-NFL star, AB has come forward with what is supposedly a response to the allegations being made over him at the Albany Empire.

Hours after the controversial incidents came to light, AB shared a tweet that kind of pointed toward all the allegations that he found himself in. The tweet read, “they bring the pain, I bring the payment.” This seems to be a cryptic response to the accusation that AB has not been paying the players and the coaches of the franchise.

The Albany Empire were back-to-back NAL Champions. But they have had a 1-2 start in this season. According to coach Damon Ware, AB had a hostile takeover of the franchise ever since his arrival. They did not receive the money for their past two games in April. As a result, the players have contemplated sitting out games to be played.AB even reportedly locked players out of their hotel rooms. Eventually, being fed up with such treatment, several key players are looking for new places to restart their careers once again.
