The antics of Antonio Brown on and off the field are known to everyone. Last season when he stormed off the field in the game against the Jets, the NFL world was shocked. The person who brought AB to Tampa Bay was Tom Brady, and he supported AB even after he left the team short-handed.

Brady listed mental health as a component that could have led to the actions of Antonio Brown. Tom Brady went on to compare AB’s situation with Simone Biles, Calvin Ridley, and Naomi Osaka. All these athletes have suffered mental health issues, and they have been quite vocal about it.

Recently former Patriots reporter Shaline Manza Young gave her views on Brady bringing up Simone Biles while talking about Antonio Brown.

She said, “It was a deeply uncomfortable– and I texted you earlier. Brady is bringing up Simone Biles and Calvin Ridley and associating them with Antonio Brown. And I was literally yelling at my radio as I’m listening to this audio because it’s very, very uncomfortable.”

She added, “First of all, if indeed Antonio has been seeking help for some sort of mental health issue, that’s Antonio’s thing to tell, not Tom’s.”

When Tom Brady played a huge role in bringing AB to Tampa Bay, he was criticized for his decision. When Brown’s tenure finally ended with the Buccaneers, Brady was seen as the culprit because he had supported him.

What next for Tom Brady and Antonio Brown?

Tom Brady and Antonio Brown were a great duo for the past two seasons. They brought home a Super Bowl for the Bucs in 2021. As of now, they both are now on two different paths.

Brady returned from his short retirement and is ready to show his greatness once again to the NFL fans. On the other hand, AB is busy with his off-field ventures and achieving success. There is no news about his return to the NFL yet.

Tom Brady will hope to lead the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to another Super Bowl. He certainly is hungry for more success, and he would like to achieve more in his career.
