After being teammates on the field for 11 years, Rob Gronkowski is still taking ideas from Tom Brady and his marketing team in his post-retirement ventures. The duo were inseparable in the league, playing together for nine seasons with the New England Patriots and two seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Even after retirement, both Gronkowski and Brady share a strong friendship with each other, usually being a part of each other’s plans and commenting on each other’s posts on social media.

And now, Rob Gronkowski has gone to take inspiration from Brady’s company, TB12 Sports, and their marketing team. And this inspiration comes to be seen in his recent marketing campaign for his elder brother, Chris Gronkowski’s brand, Ice Shakers.

Do you remember when the Gronkowski brothers made an appearance on Shark Tank back in 2017? They were there to support Chris Gronkowski’s idea to replace plastic shakers with those that were made of kitchen-grade stainless steel and were vacuum-sealed. This idea led MLB legend Alex Rodriguez and Mark Cuban to make a $150,000 investment in the business for a 15% stake. And now, the brand ‘Ice Shaker’ is worth $2.5 million. Recently, Rob Gronkowski was a part of their latest Instagram ad campaign, making a unique appearance, just like how TB12 Sports come up with their advertisement ideas

In the brand’s latest ad shared on Instagram, we see the ex-NFL star shirtless holding two boxes that are the Gallon Jugs, a new line of product from Ice Shakers. Rob Gronkowski goes on to question where his friend and wrestling star Dean Mojo Muhtadi is. Gronkowski talked about how Mojo Muhtadi only has a 26-ounce Ice Shaker and not the Gallon Jug while letting out a Hulk-like scream in the end. The caption tagged Mojo Muhtadi and read, “Who’s keeping cool with JUGS this summer? Definitely not @stayhyped”.

It is definitely an interesting way of advertising products, but it sure seems to catch the attention of fans. In fact, it also caught the attention of his friend Mojo Muhtadi, who replied to the Gronk through an Instagram story.

Muhtadi replies to Gronkowski

In what seems to be a part of the marketing gig, Muhtadi took to his Instagram story to reply to the post by Gronkowski, where he is tagged. In the story, we see the WWE star hilariously call Gronkowski, “Mr. Bobby Bowl Cut” for his hairstyle. He then further goes on to show the difference between the Gallon Jug and the normal-sized Ice Shaker, showing off the enormous size of the product. The story goes on to tag the brand as well as the Gronkowski brothers. Muthadi ended the story after hilariously saying, “Speaking about jugs, I noticed yours were in your hand. But at least, mine’s on my chest.” Muthadi further went on to invite Gronkowski to train with him, bringing an end to the story.

And now, they will be waiting in anticipation for the next advertising campaign, which may also bring in another new way of advertising their brand and its products.
