As a 2X Super Bowl-winning champion, Mahomes is no stranger to being hit and tackled by players on the field who look to nullify the QB’s game-winning passes. But this time, Patrick Mahomes was subjected to a different kind of tackle that took place off the NFL field.

The QB and his Chiefs teammate Travis Kelce were a part of ‘Captial One’s: The Match’ against NBA stars Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. The match between the NFL and NBA superstars took place on June 29 in Las Vegas. They took part in the eighth edition of The Match, which saw the athletes battle out their golfing skills on the course. And amidst the matchup, Patrick Mahomes experienced an NFL moment when Buffalo Bills outside linebacker Von Miller unexpectedly crashed into the QB’s golf cart.

Von Miller is no stranger as a pass-rusher to stop Mahomes making game-changing plays on the field. He has experience putting Mahomes outside his comfort spot in the NFL. But during the golf matchup in  Las Vegas, the Bills player hit Mahomes’ golf cart from the back while going around the course. The collision definitely shocked the QB, as he said, “Jesus! Are you kidding me?” right after the hit. But it seems to be a light-hearted mistake as they all then burst out laughing after the unexpected accident.
