Today will mark the battle for NFC West supremacy as table toppers Arizona Cardinals will take on NFC West third-ranked San Francisco 49ers. As it seems the trend around table-toppers this season, almost all of them across divisions are struggling with injuries.

Injuries have ravaged the Green Bay Packers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers the most, but Arizona Cardinals and the 49ers are not behind as reports have just surfaced that multiple San Francisco and Cardinals players including Kyler Murray and Elijah Mitchell are deemed questionable for the match.

Elijah Mitchell and Deebo Samuel are questionable for today; George Kittle returns

As per ESPN’s reliable journalist Adam Schefter, San Francisco 49ers‘ Elijah Mitchell and Deebo Samuel are questionable for tonight’s clash against the Cardinals. Adam revealed that despite being questionable, the 49ers expect them to play at least for a short period.

While there is uncertainty regarding Elijah and Deebo, there is good news for the 49ers as well. Tight End George Kittle is all set to return versus the Cardinals. The TE had suffered a calf injury some time ago. The 49 ers expect him to play roughly half the game.

Arizona Cardinals’ Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins might potentially be out against the 49ers

Meanwhile, things with the Arizona Cardinals aren’t any better. As per Adam Schefter, Arizona don’t sound optimistic about DeAndre Hopkins’ recovery from his hamstring injury. His final availability depends on his condition in the pre-game warmups.

Cardinals’ star quarterback Kyler Murray is also listed as questionable for today. His sprained ankle hasn’t recovered well which is why the Cardinals are being cautious. Just like Hopkins, Murray’s availability will also be subject to his condition in the pre-game warmups.

But it is not all gloom for the Cardinals as Rodney Hudson, Rashard Lawrence, Zaven Collins, and Max Garcia were all seen practicing.
