The 45-year-old seems to have a lot of free time in his hand now that he has hung up his cleats. It influenced this decision even more after Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin heaped praise on Brady in his recent comedy flick ’80 for Brady’. This must have made Tom Brady feel like the comedy scene must be his new destination where he can again secure the GOAT status.

But his friends feel otherwise. They feel that Brady performed well with professionally written pieces. But taking part in stand-up comedy is a whole different ball game, as it requires spontaneity and creativity. After hearing some of Brady’s pieces, a source said, “Tom was a terrific quarterback, but he needs to toss this idea before it’s too late. As a comic-he’s strictly a water boy”.
