However, the duo parted ways last year, filing for a mutual divorce after being married for 13 years. Bündchen claimed all those bonds couldn’t give her gratification until she intercepted the NFL superstar in the journey. He was calmer than he was stormy. All his aggression and competitiveness were restricted to the football field. At home, he happened to be a great dad and a husband.

“In the past, I’ve been in romances where I felt I was swimming in fast-moving waters and others where the water was calm and still. When I chose Tom to be my life partner, I was fortunate to find a man calmer than he is stormy. As his teammates will tell you, Tom is someone you can count on,” Gisele narrated in her book.

Indeed, Brady remained a faithful husband and a great dad, but his passion for the game couldn’t restrict him from getting back into the thick of the action. Despite announcing a retirement, the quarterback returned to the NFL arena, something that made Bündchen feel betrayed, and she went on to take the decisive step of her life.

It was indeed a shocking moment for NFL fans worldwide to digest the news of divorce between the power couple. There have been instances in the past when Brady and Bündchen quarreled over their family plans. However, every time they patched up and led a healthy life.

But this time, things went out of control. It seems the supermodel had no other choice than to part ways. The duo shared this news via social media, where Bündchen praised her ex-husband and wished him luck.

“The decision to end a marriage is never easy, but we have grown apart and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always,” Bündchen said in her note, as per The People.

Ultimately, they sailed in opposite directions, chasing a dream life where the kids always remained a priority.
