As the World Celebrates, Tom Brady to Shut the Gates for a Sedate Christmas

Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers still sit at the top of the NFC South Division despite back-to-back losses in the past weeks. Needless to say, Brady and Co. are facing their fair share of challenges this season. And the next challenge for seven-time Super Bowl champion TB12 is even more taxing since it comes during the holiday season.

After ending a 13-year marriage with former Brazilian supermodel wife Gisele Bündchen, Brady was bound to spend a few holidays without the family. Bündchen took the kids to Brazil for Christmas and Tom didn’t get the invite. Instead, the Tampa Bay quarterback will have to put up at a hotel in Phoenix on Christmas eve while he prepares to take on the Arizona Cardinals this Sunday.

Gisele will have the kids at a luxury penthouse in Brazil, while Brady is at the mercy of housekeeping for Christmas this year. However, Tom Terrific is looking forward to the challenge. This is the first time Tom Brady is playing on Christmas in his NFL career, and he wants to embrace the uphill task of spending time away from friends and family during the celebrations.

“You just asked a question about what have you learned from this football season? I’m gonna learn how to deal with Christmas Eve in a hotel. And I’m gonna have to learn how to deal with Christmas and Christmas night. And still, go out there and be a professional,” 15x Pro Bowler Brady said on the Let’s Go Podcast with Jim Gray and Larry Fitzgerald.

After discussing the Christmas game, Tom Brady and co-host Jim Gray welcomed legendary rapper and musician Snoop Dogg on the podcast. And the trio had an array of subjects to discuss. You’re not always entitled to win,” the former New England Patriots QB said.
