Watching an NFL game in a stadium is not cheap. The tickets are getting expensive day by day. Moreover, people tend to spend a lot of money in concession stands to keep themselves full during the game. Normally, the cost of the things in concession stands is quite more than in normal regular stores. However, that isn’t the case at the stadium of the Atlanta Falcons.

According to a report, the price of food items in an NFL stadium is likely to be 500% more than the price of the same item in regular stores. As a result, many people overspend their money while watching games. On the other hand, the Falcons have adopted a completely different business strategy.

The owner of the Atlanta Falcons, Arthur Blank, doesn’t want to see fans spending way more on food items than they should be. Due to it, he implemented a strategy where the concession stands at the Mercedes Benz stadium offered beverages for at least 40–45% cheaper than other stadiums.

As a consequence, the fans were interested in buying more as they were getting the beverages for a decent price. When this policy was implemented in 2017, the Falcons recorded a growth of 16% in sales at the Mercedes Benz Stadium. It was a great plan by the franchise. Both the fans and the franchise are happy, as it was a fair deal for everyone. Arthur Blank set an example for other teams to follow.
