The New England Patriots are in a major slump after developing a brand-new playing habit. They are giving up winning leads to the ultimate moments of gigantic repercussions. And Bill Belichick could have had enough with quarterback Mac Jones. Especially when there is a possibly better option available in the form of Baker Mayfield.

Baker Mayfield has had a rough year that he somehow was able to end on a prolific note. Baker Mayfield shook up the NFL world when he rescued the Los Angeles Rams with a last-minute comeback drive and the winning touchdown against the Raiders. Jones has also thrown 1 more interception and has more sacks than Baker.

The former Browns and Panthers QB had a rough week in the loss to the Packers. However, Baker bounced back with a dominating show in the 51-14 blowout of Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos. Super Bowl LVI Champions LA Rams don’t look like they are going to the playoffs this year with their 5-10 record. And with Stafford confirming that he will not retire next season, Mayfield has to make his choice for his future in the NFL. And Bill Belichick shouldn’t ideally have a problem trying him out.
