Cleveland Browns QB Baker Mayfield has decided not to attend the voluntary OTAs organized by the Browns. The team voluntary sessions will be taking place very soon, and the Brown’s troop will be gathering at their practice field in Berea. The practice sessions are not compulsory, and many veterans skip the part. But, Mayfield not attending the sessions tells us a lot about the situations he will face.

Television Analyst Adam Schefter recently posted on Twitter, thus spilling the beans about Mayfield’s decision to skip the OTAs. He wrote“Cleveland QB Baker Mayfield will not be attending the Browns’ voluntary OTA’s that open Tuesday, as expected.”

The future of Baker Mayfield playing for the Cleveland Browns is uncertain. In this year’s NFL draft, the Browns acquired three quarterbacks Deshaun Watson, Jacoby Brissett, and Joshua Dobbs.

Deshaun Watson is under interrogation, and there is a chance he might miss some games. Although, bad news for Baker as the Browns already have another QB, Jacoby Brissett, to backup Watson if required.

Baker Mayfield is yet to receive $18.858 million from Browns

The Panthers and the Seahawks are teams that have shown interest in making a deal with Baker Mayfield for the coming season. But the Browns still have to pay Baker $18.858 million. Browns had extended the deal with Baker for the fifth year, so they still have to figure out the payment issues before he lands up in a different team.
