It seems like Lamar Jackson is edging closer to a longer stay with the Baltimore Ravens. The star quarterback had a solid season with the Ravens this year.
The franchise were able to get their first win in the Playoffs in a long time. Lamar Jackson was very happy with the way the team had been progressing in the last year, and the team wants to retain his services, clearly satisfied with his performances.
Ravens GM Eric DeCosta revealed that he has had preliminary conversations with Lamar Jackson over a new contract. DeCosta was confident about the deal going through, and Jackson would re-sign with the franchise.

While he noted that the deal may take some time, there is optimism about it going through.

This news will make Ravens fans very happy. Lamar Jackson has been one of the best players in the history of the franchise. Jackson is a former MVP who has shown that he is one of the most elite quarterbacks in the game today.
And he is still very young in his career and can play for a long time going forward for the franchise.

Jackson led the Baltimore Ravens to their first playoff win under his tenure. For the longest time, the Ravens were unable to win a playoff fixture under Jackson. But things may finally be looking up as far as the Ravens’ future is concerned.
