It seems like Lamar Jackson is edging closer to a longer stay with the Baltimore Ravens. The star quarterback had a solid season with the Ravens this year.

The franchise were able to get their first win in the Playoffs in a long time. Lamar Jackson was very happy with the way the team had been progressing in the last year, and the team wants to retain his services, clearly satisfied with his performances.

Ravens GM Eric DeCosta revealed that he has had preliminary conversations with Lamar Jackson over a new contract. DeCosta was confident about the deal going through, and Jackson would re-sign with the franchise.

Furthermore, Jackson continued to show why he is considered one of the best rushing quarterbacks in the NFL today, with incredible charges interspersed throughout the season.

Jackson led the Baltimore Ravens to their first playoff win under his tenure. For the longest time, the Ravens were unable to win a playoff fixture under Jackson. But things may finally be looking up as far as the Ravens’ future is concerned.
