Recently, Tyreek Hill in his podcast revealed the reason he left the Patrick Mahomes-led Chiefs. On the podcast, Hill’s agent Drew Rosenhaus mentions how one game with the rivals of the Chiefs changed everything for Tyreek Hill.

In the 2021 season, Kansas City Chiefs were playing against Baltimore Ravens. It was a very close match, and the Ravens won it from the Chiefs by 36-35. Hill had started his first game in the season with a win over the Browns and had 11 catches for 197 yards. But, while playing with the Ravens, Tyreek Hill had just made three catches for 14 yards.

At this time Hill was frustrated, and he talked about the same with his agent. Rosenhaus in the podcast said“There were a lot of times during the year that we felt that Tyreek was underutilized and wasn’t fully appreciated and that they weren’t taking full advantage of all of his ability and talent. But Tyreek is a trooper. He never made a peep about it. He was extremely professional.”

Tyreek’s agent Drew Jordan Rosenhaus believed Hill was among the best wide receiver in the NFL, and he deserved more opportunities in the game. But the Kansas City Chiefs could not pay their star WR what he truly deserved.

The biggest contract of Tyreek Hill was heavily inspired by Davante Adams and the Raiders deal

Everything worked out well for Tyreek Hill, and the huge credit goes to Davante Adams. Hill’s agent says they heard about Adam’s deal, and he thought Tyreek Hill’s paycheck should be more than that. Thus ending an era of Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill’s partnership in the Chiefs.

The Chiefs traded Hill to Miami for 5-draft picks, including this year’s first, second, and fourth-round picks from the NFL draft.
