Baltimore Ravens Re-Sign Veteran Safety Tony Jefferson to Boost Young and Inexperienced Locker Room
The Baltimore Ravens on Thursday announced that they had re-signed the veteran safety, Tony Jefferson. As a result of the signing, this will be his second stint with the Ravens. Jefferson and Ravens separated in 2019 as the veteran incurred an ACL injury, and this deal brings an opportunity for them to reunite.
Ravens’ Director of Social Media, Garrett Downing said, “Quite simply, he showed that he still has gas left in the tank and that he’s fully recovered from that knee injury. It’s been a long journey for him, no question about that, but this is big for him to resign and continue his career right here in Baltimore.”
