The explosive fan-favorite running back, Christian McCaffrey, is currently happy in a relationship. While the couple has made it official since 2019, they are still going strong. The person in question here is Olivia Culpo. The 30-year-old is a model and actress. And way before CMC, she was also in a very public relationship with Nick Jonas. According to the model, she was bitten quite hard by young love.

Before dating McCaffrey, the model was in a serious relationship with music star Nick Jonas. After winning the miss universe pageant in 2012, she started dating Nick just a year later. While in a relationship with him, she even moved to Los Angeles. “I moved to LA with him. I had no brand, no money and I was in love,” confessed Culpo. She was so enamoured with the musician that she even thought of getting married to him. “I thought we were going to get married. I thought about all the things.”

However, things did not turn out so well in the end, as Nick decided to call things off. Their breakup left Olivia shaken up. “When he broke up with me, I was kind of left with no sense of identity,” added the model. She accepted that just like a young person in love, she was drunk on the idea of an everlasting fairy tale. She struggled to cope with the split. Especially when she had no money for rent and groceries. This experience, according to her, was pivotal in shaping her as a person.

The couple started dating in 2019. CMC is not the first athlete to have been linked with the model. After a not-so-great experience with other athletes, Culpo had publicly vowed not to date other sportspersons. But she broke this vow for the San Francisco 49ers RB. Talking about the breaking of her dating rule, she said, “He’s just the best, I feel like he is really everything that I could ever ask for,” she said, citing the reputation with athletes as a big reason for her previous decision. She also explained that CMC has great family values, which she loves and holds in common as well.
