New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has endured a tough season in 2022, as his team failed to qualify for the playoffs. While waiting for the 2023 season to go underway, he recently visited Fall River’s Marzilli’s restaurant, a famous Italian sandwich place. A picture of him recently went viral, as he was wearing a hoodie and jeans, looking really slim and cool. 

After his picture went viral on the internet, many fans praised the Patriots HC for choosing the famous Marzilli’s restaurant over Marcucci’s restaurant. Moreover, fans complimented his fashion sense as well.

One Twitter user named ‘feitelberg’ posted a picture of Belichick and captioned it, “Belichick is a Marzilli’s guy (Fall River. Best Italian subs in the world)! Smartest man there is. Also looking slim as hell.“

Then, many fans started posting hilarious comments after seeing Belichick in the famous Italian restaurant. One fan commented about his dressing sense.

One fan joked about Belichick focusing on football too much.

Meanwhile, many fans started their own debate regarding two sandwich restaurants Marzilli’s and Marcucci’s.

It is worth noting that since Tom Brady‘s departure from the team in 2020, Belichick has failed to win a single playoff game in the NFL. Moreover, he failed to qualify for the playoffs twice in the last three years. It will be interesting to see if finds his mojo back in the 2023 season.

Patriots already made a new recruitment trying to improve

Belichick has faced some serious criticisms from Patriots insiders regarding his coaching in the last season. Safe to say, the 70-year-old coach will be under serious pressure to provide success in the 2023 season. Hence, they roped in former offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien to the team.

Notably, O’Brien spent the last two seasons as Alabama’s offensive coordinator. Speaking about working with O’Brien, Belichick said, “I am looking forward to working with Bill again… He is an outstanding coach and an asset to our staff.”

O’Brien’s recruitment would certainly be a big boost for the Patriots’ offense. Last season, QB Mac Jones looked visibly frustrated plenty of times regarding their offense. Now, all could change for the Patriots in the 2023 season, as they are trying to find their old rhythm back.
