“Best Receiver in NFL”: Draymond Green on Ja’Marr Chase Taking The League by Storm

NFL franchise Cincinnati Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase is certainly grabbing the attention for the right reasons. He has been one of the bright spots along with QB Joe Burrow and their young roster. There is a real feeling of special things taking place at Cincinnati and former NBA champion Draymond Green does sense it too. He really did reserve praise for one of the young, bright, and emerging talents in the NFL.

Green during the tenth episode of ‘The Draymond Green Show’, did state how impressed he was with Cincinnati’s young stars. Most notably, Chase did get praise from Green and how he has proven all his doubters wrong. He did state, “Ja’Marr Chase is insane. Ja’Marr Chase is so good that he is probably the best receiver in NFL, right now, today.

The young WR from LSU has been one of the most prolific players in college as a wideout. He did successfully withstood the pressure of playing in the NFL by setting up NFL rookie records. His connection with QB Burrow is really key for his amazing performances in a Bengals jersey.

Ja’Marr Chase making history as a rookie

The player is as electrifying as it gets in his very first NFL regular season and postseason. He did set a Super Bowl era record of 1,455 receiving yards in his rookie season surpassing Justin Jefferson’s record. Chase also did find himself with a single-game rookie record after playing in Week 17 for receiving yards (266) against the Kansas City Chiefs.

He does also mark his first NFL postseason appearance in his maiden season and has been impressive in two appearances. With a combined 225 receiving yards as a rookie, Chase trails former Los Angeles Rams WR Terry Holt by 18 yards for the rookie playoff record.

Despite the debate surrounding his position early on in his young career, Chase really is playing on an elite level already. The scary proposition for all of Bengals‘ rivals will be that he is still growing while playing in the NFL. The expectations from the Cincinnati faithful are sure to be on their way to fruition depending on his current potential trajectory.
