Recently, a video involving Lamar Jackson surfaced and did the rounds on the Internet. While he was on a beach, the quarterback accidentally tripped over a jet ski and landed in the water.
In light of this, Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh spoke about the incident and confirmed that there was no harm done. However, he remained silent on whether he discussed the incident with Jackson.
“That’s between me and him,” Harbaugh told reporters in an online call. “It’s not something I need to comment on publicly.”

Lamar Jackson gave everyone a scare
Obviously, nobody likes to see their star player injured. Especially when they pick it up away from the arena. So, the rush definitely made Ravens fans sweat profusely.
Interestingly, the incident brought back a few nightmares of former Patriots running back, Robert Edwards. Back in 1998, he injured his knee during a beach football game ahead of the Pro Bowl. Owing to his carelessness, Edwards was out of action until he got the all-clear in 2002.

Admittedly, nobody knows if the Baltimore Ravens will restrict Jackson’s off-season activities or leave him to his own devices. On one hand, it is good for Lamar Jackson to have some hobbies away from American Football. However, on the other end of the scale, the Ravens do not want him to injure himself before the season kicks off.
Truthfully, it is a balancing act of giving the players some freedom, and at the same time, not compromising themselves or the team. A notable example comes from Formula One, where Charles Leclerc went sky-diving without running it past the Scuderia Ferrari team.
