Just a surgery prevented Jimmy Garoppolo from leaving the Niners camp. But when Trey Lance suffered a season-ending injury, Garoppolo caught the opportunity with both hands. And the Niners are reaping the benefits of that.

Garoppolo has a 15:4 touchdown to interception ratio this season since he has replaced Lance under the center. He has thrown 2,159 yards of passing in that period. The Niners signal-caller has a 67% pass completion rate in the nine games that he has featured in. 

The Niners have won six out of the 10 games they have played till week 11. In their most recent game, Garoppolo threw four touchdown passes as the Niners defeated the Arizona Cardinals 38-10. The San-Fran QB threw 20 completions in 29 attempts and gained 228 yards. The San Francisco franchise is at the top of the NFC West. They have Garoppolo to thank for.
