Kyler Murray has been on top of the media this offseason for his interesting fiasco with the Arizona Cardinals. His appeal for better pay has been under consideration which analysts believe was necessary since at least the Arizona Cardinals won’t end up like the New England Patriots after Tom Brady left.

According to The Arizona Republic veteran reporter, Bob McManaman, Kyler Murray and the Cardinals have both agreed to a fifth-year contract that guarantees the quarterback around $28 million. This has come after a series of awkward and indirect confrontations between both sides.

Colin Cowherd compares Kyler Murray to Tom Brady

However, NFL analyst Colin Cowherd believes that it would be better for the franchise to “just pay the stars.” He further explained how it would tremendously help the franchise avoid all the pain that comes without Murray. Providing a few live examples of such failures, he articulates the situation of a few teams.

“The easiest way to explain why Arizona needs Kyler Murray is about 3000 miles away from Kyler Murray, in Boston,” Colin Cowherd said“Bill Belichick since Tom Brady left. Bill Belichick! Best coach ever! Is a 0.500 coach. Kyle Shanahan. Let’s go 3000 miles back to the west coast.”

Colin Cowherd stated how it would be a safer bet for the Cardinals to just pay the star instead of making him turn his back on them. He mentioned how tough it will be for the franchise to find another quarterback like him. Since they have built a coaching system around him, not to mention the players that complement his playmaking abilities.

Cowherd even dropped a truth bomb over the Cardinals by stating how there is only one first-rounder QB in the 2022 Draft; which would not be a safer bet in place of the 2019 first overall pick. Furthermore, the Green Bay Packers have done the same with Aaron Rodgers by retaining him with higher pay.
