The New England Patriots are one of the poster teams in the NFL. Their success and history are matched by few in both conferences. And one man has been responsible for most of it. Bill Belichick is regarded as one of the most successful NFL coaches of all time. His skills have seen him win eight Super Bowls in a coaching career spanning over 48 years. Six of those Super Bowls came during his time at the Patriots.  Belichick has been with the Patriots since the turn of the century, except for the sole season he spent with them in 1996.

Ever since signing with them in 2000, he has pushed the Patriots to a new level. Belichick and Tom Brady together embodied a juggernaut element into the Patriots ethos. Since Brady’s departure, Belichick has seen a slight slump in the Patriots’ performance, not being able to progress deep in the playoffs. Belichick has seen some troubles come his way but has handled them well as he continues to lead the Patriots. He will hope his latest endeavors to sign one of the top WR on the market will help amend that.

It is to be believed that Bill would have met Hopkins on his visit. This will give Bill some confidence in settling his roster before the new season starts.

Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots cornerback, Jack Jones have been arrested on Friday. The second-year cornerback was arrested at the Boston Logan Airport after two firearms were discovered in his luggage. With the Patriots refraining to make a comment on the situation, they will seek more information to better understand the situation. Bill Belichick will not be comfortable with this situation weeks before they begin the NFL preseason.

Jones arrest comes right after the Patriots offseason program ended on Friday. He has been in trouble before, with a suspension by the team in his rookie season back in December. The suspension saw him end his season prematurely. But Belichick went on to push it in the past as he believes Jones has been making up for it in the practice sessions.
