The Buffalo Bills hosted divisional rivals, Miami Dolphins, for a wild-card round game. The Bisons finished the season as the second seed in the AFC after the unfortunate situation surrounding Damar Hamlin. However, the team remained strong favorites to brush past the 7th seed, the Dolphins, and qualify for the Divisional Round. The team started strong with Josh Allen and the offense, looking extremely dangerous for any defense.

The Bills’ 7th overall pick of the 2018 NFL Draft has been an important factor in turning their fortunes around for the past couple of years. Impressing the fans with his performance and his humble persona off the field, Allen has become quite a fan favorite. On the other hand, lately, the 26-year-old has somehow landed in trouble with his behavior on the field.

NFL on CBS shared a clip of the player from the game, where he got caught in an unfavorable situation. After getting a little from the opposition defensive tackle, Christian Wilkins, Allen pushed the Miami player right back, starting off a scuffle that led to multiple penalties.

With Miami down by 17-3, Wilkins’ and Allen’s shoving match turned into a whole kerfuffle with multiple other Bills players rushing to aid their QB. The ordeal led to numerous offsetting personal fouls on the field, causing a moment of absolute chaos.

Understandably, there were many who weren’t pleased with what happened on the field. This Twitter user found the entire scenario extremely childish for a couple of professional athletes.

Damar Hamlin also sent a message to his teammates while the player recovers. The horrific injury had shaken the team to its core, but the improving Damar should serve as a motivation for the players.

Recently, Allen shared how the experience altered his life. “To see what transpired here is a crazy, crazy feeling,” Allen elaborated. “It’s something I’ve never felt before… something that I know a lot of my teammates have never felt before, and you can’t do anything about it but accept it and lean on your brothers and share that moment with them. … It’s been crazy, it’s been not fun but at the same time it’s been very validating.”
