Tom Brady‘s legacy stands immortalized. Having secured an NFL record seven Super Bowl rings, TB12 stands atop the gridiron. Game-worn jerseys hold a significant place in the collector’s market, and number 12 for the New England Patriots is always in high demand. There are players who have had the honor to not only face TB12 but also exchange jerseys with him. Yet, the legendary quarterback subbed a former NFL receiver.

Brandon Marshall’s grudge against Tom Brady

Over the years, Tom Brady and Brandon Marshall have praised each other’s capabilities both on and off the field. Yet, some love was lost on Marshall’s side as he believed Brady did not stay true to his word. Back during his playing days, Brandon Marshall once approached Tom Brady after the game, asking him for his jersey. However, the situation didn’t exactly turn out as Marshall would have imagined. “Tom was like yeah, I can give it to you but you know, but Bill and the guys don’t like us exchanging jerseys after the game I have to send it to you. I’ll go inside I’ll give it to our equipment manager. And then we’ll have it sent to you.” shared Marshall.

But the jersey never arrived or so Marshall believed. Being a historian of the game, Brandon Marshall takes pride in his “legendary Jersey collection“, even showcasing some of the greatest kickers out there. The only piece of memorabilia missing was a TB12 jersey. Marshall harbored a deep grudge against Tom Brady for years, only to realize that a mix-up had taken place.

Turns out Brady had sent Marshall a box with a personalized message, something he found years later “Hey, be your greatest player. Look forward to seeing you continue to thrive. Tom Brady.” And it was at that moment, Brandon Marshall “fell in love with the guy“.

Nevertheless, the former football players gained the opportunity to collaborate outside the field.

Despite having been pitted against each other on the football field, Tom Brady and Brandon Marshall have joined hands in the business world. Recently, Brady’s brainchild, TB12 Sports, and Marshall’s HOA joined hands to take the world of athletics by storm.

With the cutting-edge coaching specialties of TB12 Sports and the state-of-the-art facilities put in place by HOA, a revolution is to be expected in the world of training, recovery, and above all a sound approach to prepping for the big stage. To make the whole thing sound even better, HOA’s Florida facilities would act as a base for TB12 Sports to further spread their influence, and Brady could oversee the whole thing coming to fruition.
