At a media briefing in Dallas, the Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinee officially addressed the allegations. It became his first general populace outing since the altercation. Additionally, Irvin filed a $100 million lawsuit against Marriott after the hotel employee contended he made inappropriate remarks to her.

Michael Irvin addressed the gathering of reporters over the claims. He also became teary-eyed while addressing himself as not being at fault and comparing the situation. The Hall of Famer mentioned, “This just blows my mind that in 2023 we are still dragging and hanging brothers by a tree. I don’t even know what I’m defending.”

The misconduct allegations led to Irvin losing his ESPN and NFL Network gig for the Super Bowl LVII. The Hall of Famer is focusing on him, not remembering the female accusing him of the allegations at the Renaissance Phoenix Hotel & Spa. Luckily, the case is getting greater for the former Cowboys WR.
